Joe Conmy

A past Chairperson and the 2008 Treasurer, Joe joined BAFFLE in 1992 and has served on the committee for many of those years. Known for his sense of humour and his serious poetry. Says his hobbies are ‘ star gazing, night walking, golf and Gaelic sport.’ He is a fan of W.B Yeats but his favourite poem is ‘The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock’ by T.S. Eliot.
He keeps ‘Baffling’ for the craic, the friends he makes and the performance side.
And his advice: “live the life of a poet, nothing much will bother you”
